With a typical family-run restaurant for three generations, founded in the sixties by Artur José Vieira and his wife, it is one of the most traditional houses in the region.
In addition to the friendliness of the welcome, there is also the offer of a glass of Port Wine, preferably homemade.
At the Ponto Grande Restaurant, the cuisine respects the local tradition, with the Ribs of Aswan, being one of its best specialties, as well as the Caldeirada de Cabrito, the famous Feijoca and also the Sirloin or Roasted Veal. Of equal importance are the desserts: the homemade Pudding, as well as the famous Borrachão Cake.
But if you are undecided, don't worry, on weekends and during the summer months, the proposal is the tasting of the three courses and dessert for 25.00 €/person.
