The Intact Farm Resort and Bungalows in S. Jorge is more than a simple Hotel or Resort in the Azores. It is a wonderful blend of natural landscaping and organic farming abundance set in our family farmhouse.
We do not consider ourselves a Hotel in S. Jorge because each apartment or bungalow is isolated. We build the Bungalows from natural and local materials, looking to be the friend of nature and we pride ourselves on keeping our environmental footprint low.
We ask our clients to share this concern with us to keep S. Jorge Intact.
On this farm, we planted a vineyard to recover the ancient and famous Casteletes Wine. Between the trees and the vineyards, the Bungalows are relatively isolated from each other, facing south to better appreciate the view over the canal and the Pico Island.
The deck / porch is ideal for bird watching during the day and for stargazing at night. Many of our guests have seen dolphins and some even whale watching on the canal. And, with the surrounding mountain and sea view, it is perfect for absorbing the energy of nature or for doing Yoga.
Each bungalow has a double bed, a sofa bed, a private deck and a private bathroom with shower. That's why we say that our Resort is different from a typical Hotel in S. Jorge. They are mini apartments, nestled in the Azorean mountain with breathtaking views.

Anyone who wants to see Urzelina's caves nearby can rent this boat for at least 30 minutes and have a different experience from who is ashore. The more adventurous and have sailor charter, can rent this boat without Skipper.
