Located in the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo, in a rural village, in Brejão.

The Herdades da Frupor, made up of three country houses, Casa da Palmeira, Casa da Vinha and Casa do Cerro da Vinha, are properly prepared and equipped to provide you with total comfort a unique experience in contact with rural life.

Casa da Palmeira offers you 5 double bedrooms, 4 bathrooms with heating, living room with fireplace, TV and fully equipped kitchen.

You can also enjoy an outdoor patio overlooking a magnificent garden, in an inviting environment for reading or a drink before dinner, enjoying the superb landscape.

Rooms at Casa da Palmeira can be rented separately.

Casa da Vinha consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with heating, living room with TV and stove and a fully equipped kitchen.

It is ideal for a family holiday. It also has a patio with barbecue and a large garden with access to a dam where you can enjoy the tranquility of rural life.

Casa do Cerro da Vinha has to offer you 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room with fireplace and fully equipped kitchen, it also has a patio with barbecue and garden.

We have prepared some routes for walks that include passing by our farm, where you can witness how our agricultural work is carried out and head towards the sea, passing through some of the most picturesque villages of fishing origin and appreciating our coast full of cutouts and points of interest such as the old watermills still served by the same old streams that end in waterfalls over the sand or memories of some timeless icons of our culture such as Casa da Saudosa Amália that reigns supreme over the beach with the same name.

Visitors receive a guide with the layout of the route and can take the tour at their own pace.

In addition to what we already offer, Vicentino Wines are produced by us and were launched last summer with the first being the Vicentino Sauvignon Blanc 2014 and now we have 8 more references.

We have Wine Tasting Programs for groups of 10 people or more (see here on Wine Tasting)

Field Visits

Duration approximately 1 hour

To better understand how the Herdade's agricultural activity is carried out, you can also take a Field Visit with Wine Tasting and experience work in the countryside.

The beaches in Sudoeste Alentejano are the best in the country and range from extensive sandy beaches to small beaches walled by the cliffs.

For the more adventurous ones able to overcome the difficult trails, there will be the reward of finding some places in the most perfect virgin state.

This is the perfect place that will make you forget the stress of everyday life and enjoy a wonderful state of relaxation and freedom.
