International Exhibition of Convent Sweets and Liqueurs

Alcobaça becomes the Capital of Convent Sweets from November 15 to 18, 2024, during the latest edition of the International Exhibition of Convent Sweets and Liqueurs.

For several years, the Alcobaça Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the country’s most significant landmarks, has hosted this exhibition to showcase conventual sweets. Some of these treats date back to the 12th century and are all considered true delicacies.

Dozens of national and international participants travel to the city for this unique opportunity to savor the best convent sweets in one place.
