Set against the magical backdrop of Praia Formosa Bay on the Island of Santa Maria - Azores, the Maré de Agosto International Music Festival brings together prominent artists from various countries.

The lineup includes Mariza, Extreme, Angélique Kidjo, Tânia Maria, Selah Sue, Anthony Gomes, Michael Kiwanuka, Maria Gadu, among many others.

Performing just twenty meters from the beach, prominent figures from the national and international music scene take the stage at a festival known for featuring a variety of world music trends.
